Shion is an experienced and passionate voice actor, singer and translator, originally hailing from the edges of Chicago, Illinois. She has always associated herself with the fine arts since a young age, whether it be singing, playing the saxophone or participating in theater. There has never been a day that she wasn’t in it for the love of performing. Whether it be in English or Japanese, Shion can bring a wide assortment of characters to life, ranging from courageous adventurers, powerful matriarchs, and even wacky mascots. She is also a capable singer, with a Bachelor’s in music and live performance credentials as proof.Shion also has much credit to her name as a renowned Japanese translator. Born as a fourth-generation Japanese American, she has been immersed in Japanese culture since she was born. She has also lived in Japan for more than a third of her life, bringing cultural understanding and nuance to her translations and acting. With both official certifications of mastery for Japanese and various projects under her belt, Shion can be the bridge to connect clients to success in the land of the rising sun.Shion has always been hungry for more opportunities in the anime and gaming industry, whether it be as a voice actor or translator. She can bring excitement to any project she is a part of, and hopes to both grow and teach as she helps grow projects to fruition.
